Brief Project Description

The Rwanda Public Health Exchange project intends to share experience of the medical students from Rwanda and their counterparts from different countries all over the world. Interested medical students or other students in health allied sciences will stay in Rwanda working in different programs of Public health as well as, Malaria, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Tobacco and drug abuse, Diabetes, Malnutrition, Hygiene and Reproductive Health. Visiting Students will work together with Rwandan Medical Students to set strategies which should be applied to make the healthier Rwandan Society.They will also work with vulnerable groups to increase aweraness regarding in the prevention of communicable diseases.

Detailed Project Description, Mission and Goals of the Project

Visiting Students will be:

-Working in the hospital,follow up of public health programs,elaboration of strategies to improve the life condition, to participate in health week celebration, as well as being involved in fundraising activities.

-Cultural exchange

-Promote the spirit of volunteering among medical students.

-Increase awareness of vulnerable groups to prevention of communicable diseases

-Contribute in setting up strategies to improve the life condition of our people.

Further Remarks

Rwanda is geographically situated in central Africa. We have hot climate(dry season and wet season).The food is natural.The security is guaranted you can move 24/24 and 7/7.You are most welcome.

Other students studying heath allied sciences like social work, public health can also apply.
